Hyderabad Zone Revenue Trend

This Zone was given an ambitious target of Rs. 17,550 crores for the Financial Year 2016-17. As at end of March 2017, the Zone was able to realize Rs. 17,827 crores thus surpassing the target by 3.04%. The biggest gain was from Service Tax collection which surpassed the target set for FY 2016-17 (Rs. 7500 crores) by 2.28% (Actual realization: Rs. 7671 crores). Since the past three years, this Zone has been continuously contributing to the National exchequer growing by 35.12% in FY 2015-16 vis-à-vis FY 2014-15 and 12.5% in FY 2016-17 compared to corresponding period last year. The biggest contributors were the Central excise revenue collection which grew by whooping Rs. 23.5% while Service Tax and Customs revenue realization remained buoyant at 9% and 1.5% respectively. Revenue for the period 2017-18 is as follows :

1. Gross Central Excise Revenue (NSDL data) : Rs. 2,470 Crores
2. Gross Service Tax Revenue (NSDL data) : Rs. 3,765 Crores
3. Gross Customs Revenue (DDM data) : Rs. 4,604 Crores
4.Domestic GST collected ( for Central Taxpayers - DG (Systems) data) : Rs. 10,854 Crores
